A deadly fire tore through an Upper East Side apartment building Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The blaze broke out in a second floor apartment inside the E. 82st St. building near Second Ave. at about 8:30 a.m. and quickly spread to the third floor of the four-story building, the FDNY said.

TEEN SHOT IN HAND BY PAL PLAYING WITH GUN ON UPPER EAST SIDE ROOFTOP

A teenager accidentally shot his buddy in the hand as they played with a gun on an Upper East Side rooftop Monday morning, police said.
The 18-year-old victim was shot in his right hand on top of the five-story apartment building on E. 78th St. near Second Ave. about 8:20 a.m., police said. The teenagers were playing with the gun when it went off.
